About Me
The thing I love most about UX is the process of realizing a vision. It is truly rewarding when you start with an idea and develop it into a product that can make people's lives easier.
My design journey began in 2018 at BCIT where I enrolled in the Digital Design and Development program. I learned a broad range of design skills which included UX Design, Graphic Design, Motion Graphics, and Video Editing. After graduating, I enrolled in BrainStation's UX Design program to further hone my craft and gain some experience by working on projects with various organizations and industry leaders.
After freelancing and working at Raccoopack Media for a year, where I gained valuable real-world experience, I am looking to bring my skills and knowledge in UX Design to a new organization.
Interests
Music has always been an important part of my life. I started playing the guitar when I was about 12 years old after falling in love with music. It wasn’t too long after that I started writing my own songs. Some of my biggest inspirations are MGMT, the Strokes, David Bowie, Lou Reed, and the Beach Boys. You can check out my music here!
There is nothing more rewarding and therapeutic than growing and taking care of a garden. The entire process of planting a seed and watching your plant grow to produce fruit or vegetables is extremely fascinating to me. The garden is a place where you can find tranquility in hard work.
Reading is an essential part of my daily routine. Not only does it give me a chance to slow down and relax, but it is also a source of inspiration and a great way to learn. Some of my favourite books are The Count of Monte Cristo, East of Eden, and For Whom the Bell Tolls.
